Animal Testing
I love animals!!! I think they should have the same rights like us. I hate people who test on animals. I unfurtunetly use animal tested products but that is because I live with my parents and I have to use what they use.
Do not test
Avon
Nivea
oral-B
Palmolive
Do test
Colgate
Adidas
pantene
Johnsons
Although modern alternative test methods exist, huge multiproduct manufacturers, including Unilever, Clorox, Church & Dwight, Johnson & Johnson, and others, continue to poison and harm animals in tests that aren't even required by law. Even if a product has blinded an animal, it can still be marketed to you.
I am not interested to know whether vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. ... The pain which it inflicts upon unconsenting animals is the basis of my enmity toward it, and it is to me sufficient justification of the enmity without looking further. ―Mark TwainDo not test

World Water Week!
So I just got an email from Conversation International about world water week. But because I check my email rarely I found out that it ends tomorrow. But it's still time to talk about it. This years theme is "Responding to global changes - water in an urbanizing world. This year it will take place in Sweden and 2,500 people will come.
They made 3 solutions:
1. Understand
2. Manage
3. Value
We all know that without water we would all die. We drink it, we wash in it and it helps us grow food. But water is slowly wasting.
Too help:
1. make a donation
2. turn off the tap while washing your teeth.
3. take a shower instead of a bath.
It was also shark week last week. Go SHARKS!!!

whale hunting
This is a happy whale:
This is a sad whale:
I would like to see all whales like the one in the first picture. But as humans will never be able to make that come true. Because even if we stop whaling there will still be marine parks. 7400 whales are killed every year for their meat and oils. Blue whales and orcas are becoming endargered because of hunting. Long ago humans needed whale meat to survive. Some still do now. But the killing methods became inhumane.
A harpoon is the key tool for hunting whales. It is launched into the animal in order to injure it and eventually bring about its death. This gradual death can go on for lengthy periods of time.
Plz pledge to never help whaling in any way in the comments.

Dog shelters!!!
Hi it's me Marta again! Sorry about the last post. Few days ago I went to a dog shelter to help out. So this post is going to be about breeders and animal rescue centers. Can you imagine forcing your pet dog to live his or her entire life in a small wire cage with no human companionship, toys or comfort, and little hope of ever becoming part of a family? That is what life is like for a puppy mill breeding dog. Help us stop this cycle of cruelty that contributes to pet overpopulation and the suffering of countless dogs. Some people think the breeders are the best because they have pure breeds and pedigrees but this is how they look:
If I ever get a dog I'm getting one from a dog shelter. Every dog you buy from a breeder you kill a dog in a dog shelter.
So if you are interested in getting a dog and you live in Ireland go to :
My favourite is the Mullingar one

A message to the world
This post is for all animal haters and people who are scared of animals. (If your not one plz still read this)
Over 15 million people die per year only a few of these are by animals. Still not convinced? Take these shark killings.
sharks kill humans each year: 5
humans kill sharks each year: 100 million
Animals are not our enemies, don't think of them as monsters because we are them to animals.
Sometimes I feel ashamed of being a human.
We take what we want not caring about then consequences:
We are the smartest creatures on our planet but we are so stupid and selfish.
Remember the elephant in my circus post or the orca in my marine parks post. They killed humans but they were just scared and hurt and if you think closer you start to think it was the humans fault.
So next time you look at an animal like at a monster or killer look into a mirror. You are the real monster.
I had a hard day and I thought about animals. I wrote the draft in tears and I'm happy to post it. I hope I didn't hurt anyone by what I said.

Undercover investigation at Glendeer pet farm
This week I did something different than usually. I went on an undercover investigation to Glendeer farm. My friends family took me and there I saw the animal cruelty.
My Report:
Facts and cruelty:
1. Pigeons: There are 13 pigeons in one of the cages. The cage on one of my pictures was only about a metre high so the birds couldn't fly and filthy too.Birds haddirthy water and were walking on poo.
2. Pigs: There are 11 pigs in two 3mX3m sized cages. My friend said it was dirthy.
3. Rabbits: There are 29 rabbits in the same size cage as the pigs and some were in an other cage with two kittens. The public was allowed to hold them.
4. Donkeys: Had overgrown hooves and people put their children on them. The worker said they rob them of the pavement. They had problems walking and showed signs of trauma.
5.There was a monkey at the farm wich was not there 2 years ago. As you probably know from my other posts monkeys are social animals so they are not suppose to be allown. But the monkey was in a small cage on its own scared running from side to side.
6. The puppies were generally well cared for, but manny people said they look unhealthy and goats had rotting oranges in there pen.
