Cruelty to Ponies
Dear reader, this post is similar to the last one. It talks about animal cruelty done by ordinary people not in labs or circuses. This story is one that my friend told me:
Near her house is a field where ponies are kept. They live in terrible conditions. They are very skinny and can barely stand on their feet. They are also teit to a fence with something that cuts them. My friend tried to pet one of them and put up her hand, the horse was obviously preaviously beaten and was scared she was going to hit him, so it ran away. They are also kept in a run down house which could collapse any time.
She tried to help them by feeding them or letting them out of the house. She is also considering telling the police and I totally agree.
Remember, if you see animal cruelty don't just walk away but try to help.

Homeless Dogs, strays
Few days ago I went to my friends rachel's house. Her neighbour's dog was in heat and I witnessed something I didn't expect. I never thought there could be so many stray dogs in one place. In the two hours I was there I saw 3 dogs in front of the neighbour's house all of them homeless.
One of them was outside the house for a few days. He still had a collar but you could see the place where the tag was ripped of. He was to scared to come close and ran away everytime he heard a noise. My friend fedf him with ham and the doggie jumped on it like he never seen food before, that means he was very hungry.
The second one was a terrier that lived on the streets for over a year and we called him lion because he was very hairy. He was the one used to people the most and let us pet him before. But his condition was terrible, he had dirty and tangled fur.
The third one looked like a sheperd dog mix. He looked very skinny and sick. Like the other two his coat was in bad condition and he didn't have a collar. He also had problems with getting rid of his fiecies.
It shows how some human's don't care about the welfare of their pets.It should change, you can help by:

- Adopting dogs from shelters instead of buying them from breeders.
- Help out in your local dog shelter.
- Castrate your dog.

Animal cruelty presentation
In school we learned how to use an internet program called Prezi.
Then we had to make a presentation with it. I decided to use this opportunity well and my presentation is about animal cruelty.

Do something good this Lent ?
It's oficially Lent. I tought that this Lent we should all do something good. Here are some ideas:
- Donate money to charity
- Recycle
- Help out in your local dog shelter
- Plant a tree
- Give up animal tested products
- And anything else that there is to do to help animals and the enviroment.
